No… haven’t posted in awhile. I’m not going to say I’ll stop this exercise entirely, but it will probably stay slow for awhile; it’s okay, that’s what RSS feeds are there for.
I’m only taking one class this semester, but that class is [ominous chord] Calculus II. It’s been about 2 years since I took Calc I, and then trig the semester prior to that, so… you could say I’m a little rusty. So, the majority of my spare time will be divided between doing my current homework, while also refreshing my memory of innumerable trigonometric identities and derivatives/differentiating rules…
In the meantime, if you really have nothing else on the entire internet to read other than this blog, I guess you’ll have to go play outside for a bit. Enjoy.
If you have a Google account, and use the personalized home, you might have noticed a new little “Select Theme” link off to the right hand side.
Pretty cool, I think.
They actually did this a few weeks ago, but I’m just getting around to mumbling about it now. Perhaps that’s because saying Google added xyz new thing has become the equivalent of saying I breathed today, and I think I’ll do that tomorrow, too.
I haven’t read any Batman since Frank Miller’s Dark Night Returns, but Sam Logan (creator of Sam and Fuzzy) thinks this may be reminiscent of a Batman book called The Long Halloween.
I was not a raving fan of the movie Batman Returns, which I thought was not really as good as everyone else seemed to think. That being said, it was a lot better than the last batch of BatClooney movies, and I’m sure I’ll see the next one.
So, in the light of how cheap it is to get music online, from P2P (free) to Russian MP3 sites (ultra-cheap) to iTunes, et al. (the One True Endorsed And Accepted Price For Songs) — why buy CDs?
Very good book; I recommend it. It’s subtitled “Non-religious thoughts on Christian Spirituality,” which probably summarizes the content as well as anything. I found it a very quick, very good read.
I don’t necessarily write a lot about it, but I’m a music nut. I guess it’s fashionable to say you like all styles of music, but I honestly can’t say there’s any style I don’t like. (That being said, there is certainly music within each genre that I either like or dislike… but anyways…)
