Sanctuary For All is the home of a new made-for-the-web sci-fi series, Sanctuary. I have only just barely started watching it, but it looks promising. It may be as interesting to see how the distribution model works as to watch the show itself.
Since there is generally a dearth of good sci-fi television out there, hopefully this is a worthwhile series.
Looks like it’s going to be pretty good, although I’m not 100% convinced by some of their greenscreen work. Still - if it’s a successful model I can imagine other shows looking to work this way; I know Joss Whedon considered it for more Firefly at one point.
Anything that resulted in “more Firefly” would sound good to me. From the last I heard, that is (unfortunately) not likely.
Even if “Sanctuary” is not superlative, I’m hoping it will do well enough to encourage more like this. I’m at the PC more than I’m in front of a television, anyways.
