Computer maker Dell has chosen Ubuntu as the operating system for its range of Linux computers for consumers.

Sound good; I guess we’ll wait and see how it pans out. The article also states that Michael Dell uses Ubuntu on his home laptop; if true, that is pretty interesting. At least some of the challenge desktop Linux has faced has been getting the people at the very top, those with decision making power in corporations, to see the potential.
