Pictures of New York City

The quality is not the best; the camera is cheap to begin with, and then I scaled them down to fit without being resized dynamically. Enjoy.

If I remember correctly, this is the New York Real Estate building. It is kitty corner from what was once the World Trade Center.

My beautiful wife, Amy. This is in the Playwright Tavern, after visiting MoMA on Friday.

One of the only pictures we took in the MoMA which turned out. This, apparently, is art. The unsightly dark spot top right is my elbow; this was to be a picture of me, but I thought the, uh, art in the background was more interesting.

Okay, here’s me, if you must know, cropped from the same pic as the above, and tweaked a little. No, not Photoshop, this is a Linux shop — the GIMP was my tool to tweak this a bit.

Radio City Music Hall.

Times Square; it’s a bit blurry. I have others of Times Square, but they’re even blurrier.

Apparently this building has something to do with Hershey.

This fellow was playing jazz in Times Square on Saturday night. If you look carefully, maybe you can see that he’s playing "It’s a Wonderful World."

This gaping hole was once the World Trade Center. The picture doesn’t, can’t, do the scene justice.

This is a bit of the wreckage from the WTC, left standing presumably because it looks like a cross. A corny image to close with, maybe, but I thought it turned out pretty good.

Anyways, that’s a whirlwind of our New York trip. Next time (that I go anywhere, since I don’t really know when I’ll return to NY) I intend to take a lot more pictures, so that I have more to select from. As you can undoubtedly tell, I’m a photo newbie. Hope you enjoyed this pics.
